1. What we store, exactly
When you buy Priority or make a Supporter contribution, we keep a small, specific set of records:
- Your Minecraft username, so we can credit the purchase to you and show it back to you.
- Your Minecraft UUID (the stable account id behind the username), so the link holds even if you later change your name.
- Stripe references: the customer, checkout session, subscription, and payment identifiers Stripe gives us, so we can match your order, activate or renew your pass, and help you if something goes wrong.
- The amount and currency of a Supporter contribution, so the contribution is recorded.
- Timestamps: when a contribution was made, and when a Priority subscription was granted, renews, or expires, so we know what is active.
That is the whole list. We link a purchase to a player, fulfil it, and support it. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell any of this.
2. Your card details stay with Stripe
Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card number and payment details go straight to Stripe and are held by Stripe under its own terms. They never touch the Aero server, and we never see or store them: we only keep the references described above.
You can read how Stripe handles payment data in the Stripe Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
3. Who else the data touches
- Stripe, to take the payment and manage the subscription.
- Mojang (Minecraft's account service), which we ask to turn your username into its UUID so the link is stable.
- Discord, only for the public "who is online" widget count shown on the site. That count carries no personal data about you.
- mc-heads.net, an avatar image service: when the site shows a Minecraft face so you can confirm an account is yours, your browser requests the ready-made face image for that account's UUID from mc-heads.net. Only the UUID is part of that request; no name, payment, or page address goes with it.
- The Aero server operator, who runs the machine and uses these records to grant Priority and credit Supporters.
4. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or trackers. The only cookies involved are the ones Stripe's checkout sets to process your payment securely, which are covered by Stripe's policy linked above.
5. How long we keep it, and how to reach us
We keep these records for as long as they are needed: while a subscription is active, and afterward for as long as we must to meet accounting and legal duties. [The exact retention period is an owner input, to be set before launch.]
You can ask us what we hold about a player and ask us to remove the linked data. Reach us at [contact route the owner sets: a support email or Discord ticket link].
